Family Strengthening Program
Our Family Strengthening program utilizes Alternatives for Families, a cognitive behavioral therapy intervention that works individually with the parents, children and then collaboratively with both in family sessions to change family patterns placing them at risk for family breakdown.
Treatment is delivered in a 3 Phase Process:
- Phase 1: Psychoeducation and Engagement
- Phase 2: Individual and Family Skills Training
- Phase 3: Family Applications
Our Family Strengthening program provides other valuable interventions including the evidence-based Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to help clients manage trauma symptoms and Active Parenting which assists parents in developing skills to more effectively and positively interact with and discipline their children.
