New Day Diversion Program

The New Day Diversion Program receives referrals directly from the State Attorney’s Office or Office of Civil Citation.  New Day provides a full range of integrated services to the residents of Broward County, Florida and is funded by the Children’s Services Council of Broward County.

The New Day Diversion Program provides a highly-structured diversion and civil citation alternatives that are offense-appropriate for public safety, with interventions that decrease the likelihood of re-offending.  The New Day Program will incorporate accountability activities, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family support services, restorative justice, case management and youth development activities that strengthen protective factors and reduce risk factors that lead to delinquent and maladaptive behavior.
